skillsUSA

SkillsUSA is a partnership of over 300,000 students and teachers working together with business to ensure America has a skilled work force. It is a national nonprofit organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations. The organization has 13,000 school chapters in 54 state and territorial associations.

Hillwood students enrolled in classes taught by Mr. Burlingame, Mr. Campbell, and Mr. Ginsberg may belong to SkillsUSA.

SkillsUSA was formerly known as VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America), and began in Nashville in 1965.
